Registration

The D9 Spring/Summer 2024 season will be played at Abe Stark Sports Center (1902 W 19th St., Brooklyn, NY 11214), beginning May 1st through June 6th. The season will continue over at Aviator Sports and Recreation Center (3159 Flatbush Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11234) beginning the week of June 17th through the week of August 12th. The season will then finish back at Abe Stark beginning August 22nd through the last playoff game on September 26th. Games will be played on Wednesday and Thursdays nights at Abe Stark. Day and times at Aviator vary. Game slots are rotated evenly between the teams. Full schedule can be found here.

NOTE: Once a team is eliminated from the playoffs, there are no consolation games or scrimmages, your season is over. In the event multiple series sweep, the next round will begin the following week and/or teams may be asked to play multiple games per week to move the playoff schedule forward.

COST

Cost is $425 per player for a full season, full time, rostered spot for guaranteed ice time.

Cost is $235 per player for a half season rostered spot. Players registering for a half season roster spot are only guaranteed to appear in 5 regular season games plus playoffs for their team.

Also included is a picture day for each team with a professional photographer.

Also included one All Star Game for players voted to represent their team.

Free agents will be assigned to teams according to availability, team need, and overall league parity in mind.

Free agents who are determined to be too skilled for this league will be removed. If free agents are removed due to skill level after the season has commenced, they will be refunded a pro-rated amount for games remaining on the schedule.

Same team requests are given consideration, but are NOT guaranteed.

Free Agents DO NOT PAY until their spot on a team is confirmed.

Wait listed players are automatically added to the sub list. Please do not fill out the form a second time as a sub.

Subs:

If you would like to be added to the approved sub list, select “A sub to be added to the sub list” as your registration option. Teams utilize the sub list to fill in their rosters for games they are going to be short handed. The team captains manage their own subs, the league commissioner does not. Note: The sub fee is $40 per game played, paid upon date played.
